Artist Statement

Life on the edge, roaring waves crash into the towering Oregon Coast cliffs. Overlooking this cliff, with wind gusts over 50mph blowing on a “normal” rainy day was a sight to behold. The overcast brought our the aqua color of the ocean, contrasted off of the wet rocks jetting out of the water. A few feet closer, and the wrong footing, and I could have been swimming with those rocks. The simultaneous feelings of raw natural power and sheer uncertainty, this is Life on the Edge.
