    "Big Cloud" Humberto is hitting Texas, but we're feeling the effects all the way here in New Orleans. I stopped and took this picture on the way to work this morning. If I hadn't paused, I might have made it to the office relatively dry. As it was, I got a soaking. But as my friend Kevin "Toast" Kennedy used to say, "What's pain when there's art to gain?" Update: Within a couple weeks of posting, this photo became my "most favorited" ever. Somewhat surprising to me. I think I've taken many photos that are more interesting than this one. But who am I to dispute? Dec., 2008: This photo has only now reached a thousand views, after well over a year. It remains the "most favorited" photo of the nearly 4,000 I've uploaded. Strange.
